A New EP of Dark Folk
This is an EP whose earliest drafts began between ‘Wings of a Dying Crow’ and ‘Diana’s Day.’ With re-worked arrangements and a new vocal performance, this is that batch of songs fully realized, as they were meant to be heard. Melodic, intimate and lyrical, ‘Towards Chione’ marks and important step forward in songwriting and a full excursion into the folky side of the Fourth Dominion sound.
“Here, the Old Gods aren’t dead.” Fourth Dominion is an arcane landscape, a shadow in a forest dark, the space between the threads of worlds. Established in 2017 with Wings of a Dying Crow, the scriptures on these pages celebrate the mysteries of Nature and sacred within the body. The sounds are mysterious and melodic. The words are spells for the soul.
